ARTISTS
CHRISTIANA HUNTE is a multifaceted artist born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. While she is involved in the arts as a whole, she is focused in the realm of movement. Beginning her dance training at Creative Outlet Dance Theater of Brooklyn, she continued her education at LaGuardia High School for Music Art and the Performing Arts where Christiana joined the National YoungArts Foundation as a 2014 Winner in Modern Dance. She went on to receive her BFA in Dance from SUNY Purchase College; with a minor in Arts Management in 2018. Ms. Hunte was blessed with the opportunity to perform works by Shamel Pitts, Kevin Wynn, Michelle Ulerich and Manuel Vignoulle. She is a recent alumni of Springboard Danse Montreal studying/ performing works by Ohad Naharin, Mark Caserta and Simona Deaconescu to name a few. Christiana is currently a ballet teacher at MOVE|NYC| where she was previously the company manager and is presently a contemporary teaching artist and a Calypso guest artist with CUNYs Mosaic Project throughout the city of Queens. In 2022 Christiana had the pleasure of performing as a premiere soloist at Madison Square Garden with Burna Boy. She aspires to continue discovering the world through dance and impacting the lives of artistic generations to come, in healing and unity. Christiana joined AntonioBrownDance in 2018 and you can witness her magical presence on tour this summer and beyond with the company and esperanza spalding.
KAYLIN HORGAN is a proud graduate of both Pittsburgh CAPA and Point Park University. She is a founding member of the Pillow Project (Pearlann Porter) and the August Wilson Center Dance Ensemble, (Greer Reed.) She is currently a member of AntonioBrownDance (NYC) and Wylliams Henry Contemporary Dance Company (Kansas City, MO) and has been assisting choreographer Christopher Huggins, nationally and internationally, since 2017. She's worked with choreographers such as Kyle Abraham, Camille A. Brown, Sidra Bell, Darrell Grand Moultrie, Gregory Dawson, Jennifer Archibald, Robert Battle and more, Kaylin’s choreography has been seen at The DUMBO Dance Festival, The Space Upstairs, Deeply Rooted Dance Theater, The Junior Theater Festival (Moana Jr. pilot) The Edinburgh Fringe Festival, One Billion Rising Rally, Wylliams Henry Contemporary Dance Company, Point Park University’s Summer Dance, and with musical artist, Brittney Chantele. She is currently teaching dance at Pittsburgh CAPA, where she loves guiding young artists with the same dream she had at that age.
TASHAE UDO is a recent graduate of Montclair State University where she received her BFA in Dance. She began her dance training as a freshman at BCIT Medford Campus and continued to train at Cooper River Ballet and Earl Mosley’s Institute of Arts throughout her college career. Tashae has been able to teach step dance internationally in Ghana, Iceland, Switzerland and Italy. She has appeared as a guest artist for Dancespora Dance in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Zion Dance Project in Dallas, Texas. Tashae has performed works by Ohad
Naharin, Clifton Brown, Sidra Bell, Chalvar Monteiro, Bill T. Jones, Abby Zbikowski, Christian von Howard, and Fredrick Earl Mosley. As a freelance artist she has had the pleasure to collaborate with multiple NYC based artists, choreographers and teachers.
